Fireproof
Listen on SpotifyThe Spark
This song was inspired by a Glenn Beck podcast about Gen Z's unexpected turn toward faith — a conversation that resonated because it named something true: the generation everyone predicted would be the most broken, most addicted, most lost is instead the one filling churches and stepping up to serve.
The Indictment
Fireproof runs with that idea and turns it into an indictment of the generation that wrote them off — the same voices that handed this generation the screens, the chaos, and the collapse, then called them weak for struggling under it. The song takes every forecast of ruin — addiction, apathy, collapse — and answers it with what actually happened.
Daniel 3
The title comes from Daniel 3: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, thrown into a furnace cranked seven times hotter, walking out without even the smell of smoke on them. That's the image at the heart of the song — a generation that was supposed to be consumed by the fire it was born into instead came out of it forged, not destroyed.
Not a Defense
Fireproof isn't a defense. It's proof the false prophecy of ruin never came true.
